Well, its almost here. I'm not making it back to my hometown this year (1st time). Instead, I am at my girlfriend's parents for Christmas Eve and will have a traditional Czech meal of carp. The Christmas day we are off to my aunt's place a couple of hours away for some turkey, then another couple hours of driving back to home base so my girlfriend can go to work on boxing day.
Christmas up here is definitely a white Christmas - the snow in the field is deep enough that our yellow dog has to swim through it rather than bound around.
I hope everyone as a good Christmas and we'll get some good progress done on the Tome in the New Year!

We have been buried in snow here in the Seattle area. The commute to work has been a real challenge as we not used to this much accumulation. We did however have a white Christmas which is fairly rare around here.

Happy Holidays everyone! Heather, Ethan, Henry and I are in South Jersey with my family for two weeks, and will be heading back to KS on the New Year's Day. In terms of gaming celebrating, I'm running some folks from the Philly/South Jersey area through RJK's Bottle City on the 30th---should be a blast (at least for their PCs ) _________________ grodog

The year did go by quick. Merry Christmas to all here and their families. I made it back to my hometown this year to visit my parents and on the 26th am flying back to southern Ontario to begin the 24 hour drive to sunny south Florida. We are taking our dog so he can enjoy the sun and go swimming too :)

I'm looking forward to the New Year. '09 wasn't too bad for us, but it was hard for a lot of people we know. Several lost jobs or couldn't make ends meet. Our local Toys for Tots ran out of toys days before Christmas. It will be good to put this one behind us. _________________ "This is cool."

It's been a great Christmas. The kids are happy, so I'm happy.
I was cruising the gaming net and noticed grodog in several locations. Allan, you're amazing. It is my sincerest hope that you remain around to guide this hobby in the direction it needs to go. _________________ "This is cool."
