As usual . . . Thanksgiving is at my house this year. Cooking Thanksgiving dinner is one of my favorite things to do, so I always volunteer to host it.
It is now 7: 45 and the Turkey is stuffed and in the oven, I'm on my second cup of coffee, Arianna is watching "Franklin" and it is time to get Carissa and get her fed (Tiffany is sleeping in today!)

Everyone's asleep, and Heather and Ethan and I are stealing away to a couple of towns an hour+ from Wichita, staying at a BnB, and getting some good family time this weekend
I've been travelling a lot, and we've all been sick on and off, and it'll be fun (though I'm not likely to score any rarities while there, since they only have gospel bookstores in town, it looks like....). _________________ grodog

I had a great weekend. Hope everyone's was as pleasant as mine. Spent it up at the house away from all the noise. We had house guests from Romania. The food turned out fantastic and the company was great. Lots of sleeping and a bit of work trying to install a new hot water on demand unit. Good thing we have one in our bathroom, because I still didn't get the installation finished! _________________

Thanks for the bump. I had a great weekend with lots of relaxation with the lady scribe's family in Virginia. Got back late last night after a brutal drive in the east coast storm!
I hope everyone had a happy and safe holiday weekend. Next up, xmas! _________________

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! We're getting the whole family together tomorrow for some Carcassone, Settlers of Catan, and card games, and then I'm gaming with our crew on Saturday (and we may just be starting toward S4 Lost Caverns of Tsojcanth, too!). _________________ grodog

Got some Carcassone gaming in over Thanksgiving, but otherwise spent time working on the house, cleaning up my office more, and doing some manuscript editing.
